Dear Friends,

 

Thank you for your prayers and support.We arrived back in Liverpool January 21st to minister at Kingsway Christian Center which is the northern side of Liverpool, our local district is called Waterloo.

 

This next 6 months we are encouraging evangelism in the area, starting with the young moms that bring their children to the building, over 100 mothers come every week mostly from outside the church. We have put a team together to reach out to them. There is a cafe that opens on a Thursday and we are relaunching the vision to reach the unchurched. Being located in a large populated area it is a harvest ready to be reaped. Sharing our faith with others, not aggressively but gracefully is a challenge, 1.Peter 3:15 exhorts us ' be ready to give an answer to everyone who ask you a reason for the hope that is in you.' The challenge is to live the Christian life in such a way that it provokes those around us to ask, that gives an open door to touching people at their point of need is the way Jesus did it, the woman at the well in Samaria is a great example, Jesus ask her for water,then told her  He had living water. The woman asked Him to give her this' Living Water', when she experienced the life of God she evangelised Samaria, no doubt preparing the way for the Harvest that Philip reaped in Acts 8.

 

There are several outreach events planned in the local parks for the summer, and are continuing to hold meetings the 4th Sunday night of each month. Diane's mentoring program with the ladies is going well, we are connecting with young families in the church to prepare and encourage future leaders.

 

Liverpool schools are 55% faith based, it is the intention of the government to force these schools to implement the homosexual agenda. The police who charged Ben andSsharon is a lesbian and the schools have been blamed for the intolerance towards this life style. This of course in not true, the general population is not in favor of this life style but there is continued pressure to conform. We at this point are waiting to see what approach the local government is going to take.

March 14th am  Somerton, Somerset A church my grandfather dedicated in 1949.

                 pm  Bridgewater, Somerset. New Church plant from South Chard Fellowship.

 

March 21    am   Waverly Christian Fellowship, Liverpool. Mick and Lynn Connolly the pastors son was murdered by a gang several years ago, they have a powerful testamony on forgiveness. Working with police going into prisons and share their story to prisoners who are in for gang violence.

 

May   8th    Southgate Christian Fellowship, N. London with Pastor John Rawding.
